General description Textrol is a penetrating wood oil finish designed for exterior softwood and hardwood surfaces, suitable for both horizontal and vertical applications. This product saturates the wood to provide protection from within, eliminating the risk of peeling or flaking due to its non-film forming nature. Textrol enhances the natural beauty of the wood while offering a mildew-resistant finish that delivers exceptional and long-lasting protection against moisture, weathering, and UV rays. It can be applied using a wet-on-wet technique, allowing for quicker application without the need to wait for coats to dry, and maintenance is simplified with easy local touch-ups and no need for extensive sanding. Technical specifications Coverage: Initial application: 5m² per litre Maintenance: 10-12m² per litre Tools: Brush, Roller, Airless Sprayer, or garden sprayer Clean up: White Spirit Drying Time: 24-48 hours Re-coating Time: Apply ‘wet-on-wet’ Usage Ideal for reviving dried-out and weather-beaten decks Protecting garden fencing and gates from splitting and cracking Maintaining decking without the need for laborious sanding Enhancing the natural wood look of garden furniture Showcasing beautiful sidings and cladding Protecting decks for the future Other information Not suitable for use on: New Wood, Hardboard, Accoya, and Thermally Heat Treated (THT) wood Clean all tools and equipment with white spirit while still wet; if allowed to dry, remove with paint stripper NOTE: Rags, steel wool, etc. soaked in Textrol may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded.
