Quick self-test to assess the physiological state of the liver. The liver is an important organ of the human body and plays a crucial role in health. It helps with the absorption of food, detoxification, the synthesis of proteins and the storage of energy. LIVER-Screen is aimed at people who want to find out whether their liver values are within the normal range or above the specified norm. The causes of liver disease can be many and varied: Hepatitis, side effects of certain medications, cirrhosis due to alcohol abuse, obesity especially with diabetes or high blood pressure. Transaminase enzymes (ALAT and ASAT) are enzymes that are released by the liver in the event of functional disorders or the development of diseases. LIVER-Screen is an immunodiagnostic rapid test for the detection of increased activity of transaminases (ALAT and ASAT). The test is very easy to perform. Please follow the instructions on the package insert exactly. Read the result after 10 minutes. If one or two red lines appear on the test next to the blue control line, the result is positive. If the result is positive, this means that the value for ALAT and/or ASAT transaminases is higher than the normal value (over 80 IU/L). In this case, you should consult a doctor. If the result is negative, the ALAT and/or ASAT transaminases value is below 80 IU/L, i.e. within the normal range. The evaluation reports show an accuracy of the results of at least 89.2 %. Please note that although this test is very reliable, false results can be obtained.
