Product Information

Ivor Novello award-winning, Brit Award-nominated band THE FEELING burst onto the pop scene following a limited release of their first single ‘Fill My Little World’ in late 2005, having signed to Island Records, and shot to fame in early 2006 with the Top 10 UK hit ‘Sewn’.
Debut album, TWELVE STOPS AND HOME, followed in June 2006, the title referring to the twelve stops on the Piccadilly line from Leicester Square to Bounds Green, where singer Dan Gillespie Sells lived. It was a huge success for The Feeling, selling a million and a half copies worldwide (with platinum sales of over 900,000 in Britain) and peaking at No. 2 on the UK album chart.
Along with ‘Sewn’, the album also included subsequent Top 10 hits ‘Fill My Little World’ and ‘Never Be Lonely’ and the additional singles ‘Love It When You Call’ and ‘Rosé’. Accompanying airplay made them the most played act on British radio, receiving a 97,436 spins (or 267 a day). In due course, the band won the Ivor Novello Award for songwriters of the year.
After an 18-month hiatus, THE FEELING are back this year, starting with an acoustic show at London’s Apollo Theatre on Sunday 15 April.
Newly mastered from the original tapes, TWELVE STOPS AND HOME will be reissued as a DELUXE 3-CD + DVD BOX SET (PAL) (as well as a limited edition yellow vinyl double album) to celebrate the album’s twelfth anniversary!
Housed in a striking Digibook, the package includes all of the B-sides and non-album tracks from the various singles, an assortment of Demo recordings and remixes to present the definitive edition of TWELVE STOPS AND HOME. Long-time supporter Chris Salmon has penned fresh sleeve-notes to accompany the deluxe packaging.
Alongside three CDs of music, this expanded edition also boasts the documentary DVD, THE FEELING ON ICE, telling the early story of the band as narrated by fan Kiefer Sutherland and Including performances in the Alps of ‘Sewn’, ‘Never Be Lonely’ and ‘Love It When You Call’.
