Axel Chay Wall light with plug Silver Metal. Dimensions:Ø 35 cm x H 25 cm. Inflated design! Round and cheerful, this Lamp puts us in a good mood with its playful, friendly and reassuring shapes. It features a white glass globe set at the heart of a large chrome-plated steel ring, reminiscent of a rubber ring or doughnut, whose name it bears. French designer Axel Chay has a knack for creating a bold language of shapes and colors, borrowing here and there from the 80s, such as a curve from Julio le Parc or the nostalgic silhouette of an Italian terrace on a summer's evening, which explode into view. A welcome slap in the face of conventional, expected furniture design. With its generous curves, the Donut Lamp exudes a graphic, slightly regressive presence. Its simple form, both enigmatic and playful, irresistibly attracts attention and stimulates the imagination. A style at once whimsical and refined.
