Rapid self-test for the detection of PSA (prostate-specific antigen). In men, the prostate antigen (PSA) is secreted by the prostate. The prostate antigen level provides information about the physiological condition of the prostate. A value that is above the norm may indicate a disease of the prostate (benign hypertrophy, prostatitis, cancer, etc.). The PROSTA check is very accurate and has been used in clinics and laboratories in this field for more than 10 years. The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a protein that is released by the prostate into the seminal fluid. The PSA value makes it possible to assess the physiological condition of the prostate. A value that is higher than the normal value (over 4 ng/ml) indicates prostate hypertrophy. This hypertrophy can be benign, due to prostatitis or malignant in the case of adenocarcinoma. The PSA test should be carried out at least once a year in men over the age of 50 or in men with a family history of prostate problems. The test is very easy to perform. Please follow the instructions on the package insert exactly. Read the result after 10 minutes. If the result is positive, this means that the PSA value is higher than the norm (4 ng/mL) and that you should consult a doctor to discuss the next steps. If the result is negative, it means that the PSA level is below 4 ng/mL. The evaluation reports show an accuracy of the results of at least 87%.
