Icelandic designer Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir explains: I try to create unusual designs, products that are unpredictable and make people curious. In particular, the designer was inspired by an old book on Navy knots. She chose to use a particularly aesthetic knot, generally used in mountaineering ropes and on boats.
